after the rain, we got several days that's sunny but freezing. oh, sorry, what i meant by freezing is like 40F and 4C as the lowest. 'cuz i have to leave the apt. very early in the morning and won't go back til after dark.

the group meeting w/ my advisor has postponed to friday. good and bad. good that i'm not ready to show him any progress yet, and bad that i'll keep procrastinating til friday. but actually, my code is working now, and for C++, it ran a lot faster than Matlab, however, i do agree that it's not user friendly. plus, when i get to very long I/O values, it still takes time, like 1 hour. but much better than 3 days with Matlab.

anyway, nerdy subjects end there. as i might have mentioned, me, adele, nami, helena and yxj went karaoke several weeks ago and it was fun. so adele was desperate about going again--guess she hasn't been singing for a while and it felt so good...so then, we've decided to go again soon. back to 2 weeks ago, we said that we will go this saturday, and then yesterday, i just realized that this saturday is valentine's day. well...anyhow, i got a midterm next week too. it was supposed to be this tuesday, but according to someone, they "cannot handle 2 midterms on one day", we had to switch it. yeah... -_-

hope this week could end up really well, so then i will have the mode set for party at karaoke this saturday and still be ready for next week's midterm. oh, next monday is a holiday, so, i will have plenty enough of time.
