30/9/2008 girl's night saturday, i went shopping with xj. i got a lot of good deals. there's this dress i saw long time ago and it was $69. i don't think it's worth it to buy, so i didn't buy it and went back to China. then i came back last wednesday and went to south coast plaza last saturday. it's still there and with the price cut sale and 20% off, it was $17.13 with tax! i also bought another dress, which was the last one in Gap and was taken off the model. of course it's also on sale and just my size. it was fun. then later that night, we meant to have a dinner party with others, but all the guys seem busy. so it ended up with all girls. we cooked and then make hair and try different makeups. helena did smoke eyes on my eyes and it looked awkward. we took a lot of pictures. yeah, just because it is the beginning of the quarter and we all have time. soon enough, we'll be busy, even too busy to think about these kinds of stuff. oh gosh, i need to "hunt down" my advisor...he just never in his office when i need to meet him. 25/9/2008 meant to attach this i meant to attach the picture of 13, but it was wireless when i was back home and upload speed is super slow. so here he is. introducing the king of 13: shi san! (sounds like i'm bored, right? sure, soon, i'll have no time to be bored, so why not!) 23/9/2008 going backgoing back to irvine tomorrow. a little excited and a little sad. for i'm leaving home again, for the n^th time that i couldn't remember how many times i've been coming back and leaving. it comes to the time that i have to face my future choices. all the sudden, i remembered a song, which was taught long time ago. couldn't remember the name, but could still sing it and every word of the lyrics. "when i was just a little girl, i asked my mother what will i be? will i be pretty? will i be rich? this is what she said to me: que sera, sera whatever will be will be. the future's not ours to see que sera, sera." so...guess the future is not ours to see...well, step by step, i think i'll know exactly what i want to do soon. went to zheng da square the other day, and i saw this stupid cow, it is so cute and dumb, so i bargain with the girl and bought it. decide to name it "13". i guess most chinese will know the meaning of it. XD |
